A medical centre at the heart of ocean shores for nearly 40 years
Dr John Holmes being the only medical practitioner in the area established the Ocean Shores Medical Centre in 1983. The OSMC now offers nine consulting rooms for General Practitioners and a fully equipped treatment room, which employs a Practice Nurse daily. All GPs in this practice have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. This means we have a commitment to general practice and to continuing medical education.
We are committed to providing the very best possible medical care in all aspects of Family Medicine. We believe in looking after the whole person from preventative medicine and counselling to diagnosis and treatment. Patient consultations and medical records are kept strictly confidential.
Our practice provides comprehensive general practice care and has special interests including Diabetes, asthma, community medicine, mental health, allergies, travel medicine, sports medicine and women’s health.
